1. What Certbound is

Certbound is exam practice for United States certification tests. This listing covers the FAA Part 107 remote pilot exam. It holds 635 questions across all 176 knowledge points of the FAA airman certification standards, and each one carries an explanation and the verbatim passage it comes from.

Those questions are our own work, written from public-domain United States government texts. The 46 official sample questions are the FAA's own work and their answers and explanations are ours; they sit in a separate free set and are labelled as the FAA's.

Certbound is not affiliated with the FAA or the EPA, and neither agency has approved or endorsed it. Certbound is practice, not the exam, and passing a mock exam here is not a certificate. Store name: Certbound: Part 107 Test Prep.

2. Who sells what

• WaveApp LLC makes Certbound and licenses it to you.
• In the app, the Apple App Store or Google Play sells you the pass and is the merchant for that payment.
• Payment, tax and refunds follow the rules of the place you bought from; see the refund page.

3. Your licence

You may install and use Certbound on devices you control, for your own exam preparation. You must not copy, resell, republish or reverse-engineer the questions, the explanations or the app. You must not interfere with store billing or with anyone else's device, and you must not use Certbound to break the law. You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live.

4. Your work and ours

• Your answers, missed questions and scores stay yours and stay on your device. See the privacy page.
• The questions, the explanations and the reading of each figure are ours. The passages and figure pages they cite are United States government works in the public domain.
• Reporting a question lets us use what you sent to correct it and to re-check its source.

5. Paying

• The free set is a 40-question diagnostic built from the FAA's official sample questions, plus 2 of our own questions in each area. Export is free and stays free.
• The 90-day pass is $34.99 once. It unlocks the whole question bank for one exam window, runs for 90 days from the purchase and does not renew. Nothing is charged when it ends.
• The lifetime purchase is $79.99 once, for this exam, and it does not expire.
• There is no subscription and no trial. The price on the checkout screen, in your currency, is the one that counts.
• Restore purchase, in the paywall and in Settings, brings a purchase you already made onto a new device.

6. No promise that you will pass

We do not offer a pass guarantee, and a failed exam is not a refund reason. The FAA and the EPA set their exams and the passing standard, and you book and sit the exam elsewhere. Our readiness read is a score from your own mock exams, not a prediction.

7. Changes and availability

We will change features and prices only across releases, never inside one. A pass you already bought keeps the terms it was sold under for its whole window. We do not promise that the app is free of defects or always available.

8. Ending

You can stop using Certbound at any time, export your data and run Delete everything. A purchase you already made stays with the store, or with us, under the rules it was sold under.

9. Warranty

Certbound is provided as is. Questions, explanations and figure readings can be wrong; the source passage sits with every question so you can check it, and one tap reports a question you think is wrong. Certbound is not legal, aviation, refrigeration or safety advice, and it is not flight or trade instruction. Where the law gives you a warranty we cannot exclude, that warranty stands.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, WaveApp LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost data, a failed exam or an exam fee. Our total liability for anything connected to Certbound is limited to what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.

11. Law and disputes

These terms follow the law of the State of Wyoming, United States. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections and courts of the place where you live still apply. Write to [email protected] first; most problems are settled by email.

12. Changes to these terms

We will tell you about a material change in the app's update notes before it takes effect. If one clause cannot be enforced, the rest stand.
